I know a lot of us this year made resolutions for a great 2025, and the truth is that whatever you had in 2024 is most definitely going to come with you into 2025. But what doesn’t have to remain the same is your mindset and approach to things.
Which is what I did as I walk into the week of intentional living.
Then, bam!
On the second day, I was dying to crawl back into my shell and continue the way things were. Why? Because I kept forgetting that I’m on a journey—a mourning path toward acceptance.
Acceptance of what, you might ask? Acceptance of the fact that I cannot magically change my life cycle by doing the same things while expecting drastic changes.
But not anymore.
This year, I am committed to doing better and what the week taught me was that one of the most important ingredients for achieving anything in life is to Show up.
I encourage you to do the same for yourself because, you know what?
We Are Worth It.
So, this year my critical side will merge with my kindness to remind me that I am capable and push me to show up for me.
I’ve started this process with the Daniel Fast, followed by weekly challenges to build confidence in achieving my 2025 goals. One of my commitments is to show up daily by waking up and doing an Instagram Live – talking about anything on my mind, whether it’s something deep or just a bit of rambling. The aim is to cultivate discipline and let go of my perfectionist approach to life.

Your Turn
I challenge you to write down three things you want to achieve this year in the following format:
- Character: Identify one aspect of your character to strengthen, then develop a specific plan to leverage that strength to optimize achievement and resilience.
- Goal: Choose a goal, outline the steps you need to take to achieve it, and set a timeline for completion.
- Hobby: Try out one new hobby. (Who knows? It might just be the refresh button your life needs!)
Let’s Do This Together

Come join me on this intentional living journey. Let’s show up for ourselves – prioritizing our own needs and advocating for ourselves. Because at the end of the day, we are truly worth it.
